We are proud to announce that KWR sponsored driver John Vallone achieved his first main event win this past Saturday at Stateline Stadium Speedway in the Hobby Stock division. He busted out on the trophy dash and held on for a solid 2nd place finish to start the evening off, the car has been performing well with a fast qualifier in the opener of the season. John ran respectably in the heat event and returned to the pits to make a few adjustments that locked the car in rock solid for the main event. Vallone stated that he could take the car anywhere on the track when returning for the main. He flat out owned the inside groove and brought his new Pontiac in for the win. After an emotional photo op and trophy presentation John was further congratualated by second place contender Billy Swift on a first rate race, John gave him the outside and Billy stated he just did not have enough in the his proven Camaro to take him in that groove, even though John gave him the outside to challenge.
